Which of the following command is used to set Frame Relay to use Ciscos own encapsulation?
encapsulation frame-relay ietf
encapsulation frame-relay
encapsulation frame-relay cisco
None of these
The "encapsulation frame-relay" command is used in interface configuration mode, to enable Frame Relay encapsulation. The command can be used with the optional "ietf" keyword to set the encapsulation to comply with IETF standard (RFC 1490). This keyword should be used when connecting to another vendors equipment across the Frame Relay network. You can use the command with no keywords to set or restore the default Cisco encapsulation.
